Lisas Law Gps Tracking For Domestic Violence Offenders In New Jersey

A pilot program has been proposed and is pending in the New Jersey legislature that would make it standard procedure for a hearing to be held for those who violate a Final Restraining Order as to whether that offender should be compelled to wear a GPS ankle bracelet.  This pilot program will be in Ocean County if the bill is passed. If you are the victim of domestic violence, or if you have been accused of domestic violence and are facing a Final Restraining Order hearing, it is important that you prepare your case for trial with an experienced attorney given the significant consequences that a Final Restraining Order will have for both the alleged victim and the alleged offender.
