Flavio Van Boekel is a Matrimonial Litigator with 15 years of experience in the field. He is also a Certified Mediator. Flavio speaks both Portuguese and Spanish with native fluency. Flavio sits as panelist for the Morris County Early Settlement Panel. He also sits for the Essex County Early Settlement Panel. Flavio has also practical experience and knowledge of immigrations laws, specially related to marriage and divorce with the several years of experience.

He has previously clerked to the former Governor of Michigan Hon. Jennifer Granholm also former Secretary of Energy under the Biden Administration. In addition, he was had an internship with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission (AGC) which is disciplinary and regulatory body of professional responsibility of other attorneys.

From 2017 to 2019 he had the honor of being included in the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars* list, a recognition bestowed to only 2.5% of all best Matrimonial Lawyers in the State.

His previous experience in the military, makes him able to handle stressful situations with friendliness and confidence, so he can better guide those clients through their own delicate, emotional, and stressful divorce or domestic situations; yet, on the other hand, Flavio is straightforward, honest, and always provide clients with a clear assessment of the advantages and the pitfalls of each case.
