Nicholas D. Malaniak is an associate at Townsend, Tomaio, Newmark & Clancy, LLC, where he represents individuals in Family Law and Criminal matters. After graduating cum laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, he earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Newark. While at Rutgers Law, Nicholas served as a Teaching Assistant and Academic Success Program Teaching Fellow and participated in the International Human Rights Clinic.

Nicholas handles a variety of family matters, including Domestic Violence, Divorce, Custody and Parenting Disputes, Child Support, and Spousal Support. As a practicing criminal defense attorney, Nicholas has also represented clients facing criminal and traffic charges, including allegations of DUI, Theft, Domestic Violence, Assault, Aggravated Assault, Child Endangerment, Burglary, Kidnapping, and various other charges.

For Nicholas, serving clients means standing firmly in their corner, advocating for their interests, and helping them navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Nicholas is passionate about advocating for his clients and takes great pride in providing the guidance, support, and dedicated representation they need during critical times.

Nicholas is admitted to practice in New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice, and the Middlesex County Bar Association.
