Wren G. Downs, Esq.

Associate Attorney

Wren G. Downs joined Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, LLC as an Associate Attorney in July 2025, after working with the firm as a J.D. Law Clerk prior to her admission to the New Jersey Bar.

Wren received her undergraduate degree in Journalism with a minor in Professional Writing and Editing from West Virginia University in 2021. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, where she became involved with restorative justice, mediation, and conflict resolution. Her commitment to helping people navigate interpersonal disputes in a constructive, empowering way led her to intern with the New York Peace Institute, one of the nation’s leading non-profit conflict resolution organizations.

After graduating from law school in 2024, Wren knew she wanted to continue advocating for individuals during some of the most challenging and sensitive times in their lives. Her interest in family law was a natural extension of her background, where legal issues intersect with personal relationships, and where a thoughtful, solution-oriented approach can make a meaningful difference. Wren brings empathy, clarity, and determination to her work, with the goal of helping clients find meaningful resolution and stability.
