Michael Lohan, estranged father of actress Lindsay Lohan, was recently charged with domestic violence involving his on-again, off-again girlfriend.
According to the allegations, 51-year-old Michael Lohan hit his girlfriend, a former magazine reporter, after the two argued on October 25th. He was arrested and spent the night in jail. He proclaimed his innocence to a judge, who ordered him to stay away from his girlfriend.
Only 12 hours later, the girlfriend called 911 again to complain that Lohan was harassing her. When police came to her home to investigate, Lohan allegedly called her yet again. He was placed on speakerphone and the police heard him attempting to have contact with the woman he was just ordered to stay away from.
Police went to his hotel to arrest him again, but they claim that Lohan tried to resist arrest by running away and attempting to jump from his balcony up to the roof of his hotel, but he fell 34 feet to the ground. Lohan was seriously injured but he was also arrested again.
What will be the outcome of these domestic violence charges against Michael Lohan? What will be the future for this volatile couple? Michael Lohan will certainly need a strong, strategic against these serious charges.
