Mr. Barry Jackson is Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark’s New COO

Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, L.L.C. is proud to announce that Barry Jackson is our new COO. Below is Mr. Jackson’s bio:

As Chief Operating Officer at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, L.L.C., Barry Jackson facilitates the practice of law and is the point person for all areas of legal administration. Barry graduated cum laude from The University of Richmond with a BS in business administration. He has a distinguished resume that includes serving as the Executive Director of Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C., Davis & Gilbert, Tannenbaum Helpern, and Ravin Sarasohn. He was also the Controller at Kasowitz Benson.

Barry started his career as an accountant at Price Waterhouse and spent five years at Cleary Gottlieb, where he jointly managed the 70-person finance department. Barry Jackson was the President of the New York Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) in 2006 and also served five years on the NYSBA Legal Practices Committee. The NYSBA asked Mr. Jackson to write the book “Best Practices in Legal Management, A Comprehensive Guide” which was published by the NYSBA 2010.
